Riding motorcycles is dangerous since the bikes neither come with airbags nor with seat belts for riders protection.
In case a motorcycle crashes or rider has to abruptly stop the bike, he is likely to be ejected from the bike before landing. In most such cases, it leads to serious injuries.
Motorcyclists can now be safe!
Swedish brand Mo’cycle has come up with the world’s first airbag JEANS.
But how it works?
In case of an accident, the jeans automatically inflate to protect the rider’s lower part of body. For sensing a fall, jeans have to be connected to the motorcycle.
Mo’cycle achieves this through an elastic tether that connects the garment to the motorcycle. When the rider starts to fall from their bike, the tether is pulled apart and detaches from the jeans.
These pants have a replaceable CO2 cartridge. Once this cartridge is activated, the protective air cushion is instantly deployed.
Mo’cycle states on its website, “The jeans are just as comfortable as any other pants, and are made with water repellent, breathable and abrasion resistant fabric,”
“The fabric is extremely abrasion resistant but looks and feels like regular denim. Before activation, the airbag is completely invisible but deploys within milliseconds of being triggered.”
