21) Abolish hunger, and level the playing field in education and health for all humans – recent studies have suggested that the number of people getting sick and/or dying from overeating is becoming larger than the number of people who don’t have enough to eat. In the first case the overeaters are experiencing obesity and cardiovascular disease and those without sufficient resources are dying from tainted water and a lack of food.
It is clear that the problem of overeating is connected to humans genetic development when converting food to fat was a survival mechanism. Over the next 87 years leveling the playing field with respect to food and education is extremely important so that inequality and suffering and the wars they lead to are avoided. Technology may be able to help as we have reported in IndustryTap on “Ending World Hunger.”
