Tesla’s over-the-air software updates are like Christmas for owners of Tesla vehicles as they always come equipped with upgrades and/or new features, and hidden easter eggs.
Elon Musk has now made them something everyone looks forward to, regardless if you own a Tesla or not.
Recently, Bjorn Nyland, a Tesla Model X owner from Norway, discovered a neat improvement to the Model X doors opening speed after upgrading from version 7.1 to v8.0.
After making the discovery, Nyland did us all a favor by uploading a comparison video on YouTube, which shows the Model X doors open approximately 1.5 seconds faster with the new software update.
Not to mention, they also closed around 2.2 seconds swifter.
