Swincar, a French-built and crazy flexible electric buggy, looks like a vehicle that came straight out of a video game.
The way it maneuvers around different types of terrain looks very similar to the movements of a spider, which makes sense because the company that built Swincar, Mecanroc, describe it as “a mechanical spider on wheels.”
The car’s design lends itself to easily roll over slopes, hills, and ditches thanks to four wheels that tilt and bounce independently of one another.
Regardless of what each wheel is doing, the cab of the vehicle generally is able to stay incredibly stable.
Each wheel is powered by its own electric motor (either 1 kW or 1.5 kW), and customers can choose between 2 kWh, 4 kWh, or 6 kWh battery pack versions.
I might have to get me one of these bad boys for the hunting property!
