Regular coffee drinking could add nearly two years to your lifespan, according to a new study in the journal – Ageing Research Reviews.

Researchers found it’s linked to a lower risk of heart and respiratory diseases, stroke, certain cancers, diabetes, dementia, and even major depression. But that’s not all—coffee may also boost your resilience to stress, making it more than just your go-to pick-me-up.

Cheers to coffee…your cup of wellness!

Interestingly, researchers from the University of Coimbra, Portugal, have brewed-up the first comprehensive analysis of how coffee and its compounds impact ageing. By diving into all available data, they uncovered some stimulating findings: regular coffee drinkers may enjoy an additional 1.84 years of life!

Not only does coffee extend longevity, but it also reduces the risk of many age-related diseases, including heart issues, diabetes, and even dementia.

Exactly how coffee works its magic remains a mystery!

With over 2,000 compounds, coffee is more than a morning pick-me-up—it’s a potential health powerhouse. Additionally, researchers explain that some compounds reduce disease and extend lifespan through anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.

Coffee contains caffeine and chlorogenic acids, which help protect against cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, and inflammation. Notably, chlorogenic acid has also been linked to reducing anxiety and stress, even showing promise as a treatment for PTSD. Your cup of coffee might just be your daily dose of wellness!
