Pizza Hut is known for getting creative when it comes to alternate uses for their pizza boxes, beyond you know, just carrying pizzas.
Last year, they designed a pizza box capable of transforming into a movie projector but this year they’ve upped the ante a little bit.
Pizza Hut’s UK division developed a functional turntable pizza box, or DJ pizza box if you will, thanks to a collaboration with Novalia.
It actually sounds pretty legit as the turntable box comes with printed electronics, including pitch and volume controls, a functioning mixer, the ability to scratch the turntable, and the option to pair it with other electronic devices via Bluetooth.
Unfortunately, this seems like more of a marketing ploy than a mass pizza turntable box promotion because the company only plans to give out 5 of them across the entire UK for now.
C’mon, Pizza Hut! Can’t we all be pizza DJ’s?
