Motion Industries Inc., a renowned maintenance, repair, and operation replacement parts distributor and a trusted provider of industrial technology solutions, has exciting news to share. The company recently declared the latest Motion AI facility in Beverly, Massachusetts.
This latest addition to Motion Industries’ extensive network of facilities promises to enhance its capabilities in serving customers with advanced industrial solutions. The formal open date of the newly-built facility was December 1st, 2022.
The higher demand of customers and the need for strategic business growth required Motion Ai to look for additional space for manufacturing space and warehouses. The new 33,000 sq ft facility is an addition to the company’s two existing neighboring ones in Danvers (19,000 sq ft) and Woburn (10,000 sq ft), which make up a total area of 62,000 sq ft within the Boston area.
A majority of the manufacturing and quality assurance operations are carried out in the new Beverly facility, which has modern features like manufacturing laboratory benches and a test area used for quality control.
The modern facility enables a lot of state-of-the-art production activities. In particular, the focal point of systems engineering and manufacturing solutions is machine vision, robotics, and motion control, with extra specialization in electromechanical assembly, precision components, and entirely engineered automation systems.
Motion Industries’ senior VP, Aurelio Banda, stated that expanding production space in Massachusetts would enable the company to meet increasing customer demands while adding its future capabilities in robotics and automation.
He further explained that this refers to extra original equipment manufacturer (OEM) business and the capability to fulfill higher volume and physical-sized orders. Mr. Banda hoped that the newly built manufacturing space would promote economic growth in the region and make position contributions in the long run.
According to Motion Industries’ President, Randy Breaux, the company was thrilled about investing in the new facility and expected it to further improve customer experience. He added that Motion Ai was home to many talents, and the expansion would present great opportunities for their employees.
Motion Ai has available opportunities for competent senior positions, including electro-mechanical assemblers, automation engineers, and qualified technicians. Their hiring will still go on since their business continues to grow.
