Sea Slice is an experimental United States Navy vessel. Launched in 1996, the Lockheed Martin-built Sea Slice has a uniquely modified hull design called SWATH (Small Waterplane Area Twin Hull design).
The unique hull design allows it to remain super stable even in 12-foot waves and allows it to cruise at a much higher speed than a conventional ship of its size.
This experimental naval vessel is now being offered to private parties. Sea slice originally cost about $15 million, but it can now be yours for an amazingly rock-bottom price of just $180,000.
This 32 meter (105 ft) long, 17 meter (55 ft) wide, 180 ton ship is powered by two 3,480 hp diesel engines and two 180-kW Caterpillar diesel electric generators.
Sea Slice’s wide and stable top is suitable for entertaining guests on board. It has 12 single berths, six cabins, a full galley, and bathroom. The top speed of this vessel is 30 knots (35 mph)
