Jaguar Land Rover has patented a unique technology that allows a driver to automatically control the rear window’s wiper with his or her eyes.
Utilizing the same eye-tracking technology designed to keep a driver safe and awake, the tech can tell when to activate the wiper even when the driver is donning sunglasses.
Simple enough?
Glance back at your window to give it a wipe and proceed. This process can be carried out as long as the driver deems fit.
Hopefully, as the technology continues to advance, it will minimize the wear and tear many vehicles go through as a result of excessive windshield wiping.
