The awesome folks over at DragTimes recently pitted a Tesla Model X Ludicrous versus a Model S P90D Ludicrous in a drag race.
To make the stakes even higher, they had a husband and wife behind the wheel of the cars for ultimate bragging rights.
Tesla’s Model X is an SUV that carries around 600 pounds more weight than the Model S P90D, but you could hardly tell by watching the two vehicles.
Ultimately, the Model X recorded 11.61 at 116 mph for its best time, and the Model S’s best was 11.24 at 118.5 mph.
That’s a fast SUV son!
In fact, not only was the difference 0.37 seconds and 2.5 mph between the Model X and S, the Model X Ludicrous burned 0 to 60 in merely 3.1 seconds.
Elon Musk and the people at Tesla apparently know what they’re doing!
