Hendo Hover is a real hoverboard, something folks have been waiting on for years as evidenced by the fake hoverboard video that went viral earlier this year.
However, Hendo Hover has its limitations because it relies on magnets in order to “float” over a metal surface. This means you cannot ride Hendo to class or around the neighborhood as it requires a special surface to function.
Founded by by Jill and Greg Henderson, the Hendo is looking for $250,000 in funding by Dec. 15, but that should not be a problem with the way donations have been coming in left and right.
Currently, the prototpye Hendo Hover is capable of hovering over a 1-inch air cushion and the founders have big dreams of creating a “hoverpark” for all your riding needs.
The goal is to release the hoverboard next October should everything go according to plan. To get all the details about the technology and team behind the development of the Hendo Hover check out the link below.
