With Apple and Amazon taking on their own seemingly crazy endeavors, Google appears to have decided it wants in on the action with a wild looking new headquarters design.
Below are the latest renderings from Google of the company’s plans, essentially a collection of massive, transparent canopied buildings.
“We aim to blur the distinction between our buildings and nature,” says Google, which explains the crazy canopied buildings. Moreover, the transparent canopies allow light and air in while also controlling climate.
Google has even bigger plans for the canopies, however, eventually hoping to install solar panels in them and have robots that can move sections around.
