Started in 2009, Google Ventures was developed in order to invest in emerging technologies and companies.
Interesting enough, Google Ventures doesn’t actually belong to the tech giant anymore, as the company’s corporate reshuffle resulted in the venture capital branch now being under the Alphabet super-company.
As a result, Google Ventures now has a new “GV” logo that doesn’t even remotely resemble Google’s famous colorful logo.
Honestly, it’s a more modern and simplistic design, one that looks appealing and gets the job done when it comes to separating the Google Ventures arm from Google itself.
