FOCUS garments is the latest clothing line from Tokyo-born designer Kunihiko Morinaga and represents the first clothing line specifically designed to block incoming cellphone signals.
The garments are made of synthetic fibers that reflect electromagnetic radio waves and can easily make any cellphone useless, which may sound like the end of the world to people who have trouble putting their phone down for five minutes.
FOCUS has teamed up with Trident in order to promote the new clothing line and get people back to focusing on things that matter in the world around them instead of staring at a screen all day.
Simply slip your cellular device into a pocket on a FOCUS jacket and your phone will direct all callers to voicemail.
However, an emergency call system seems like an important feature to add to the technology as it appears to be the biggest obstacle in my opinion.
