Well, it turns out that the Flyboard Air is indeed real, something I wasn’t so sure of when I first wrote about the hoverboard.
So real in fact, that the man behind the jet-powered Flyboard Air set a new farthest hoverboard flight record by soaring for 7,388 feet along the coast of Sausset-les-Pins, France.
In the video below released by Zapata Racing, you can see the whole thing unfold, including starting up the extremely loud “Independent Propulsion Unit,” which the company claims can fly for approximately ten minutes.
It appears that the true hoverboard the world has been patiently waiting for is finally here.
