I guess it was only a matter of time, but Tesla has officially entered the used car market, launching a pre-owned vehicle program at the end of this past month.
The used vehicles will come with Tesla maintenance and reliability checks, in addition to a 4-year or 50,000-mile warranty on pre-owned vehicles.
Currently, customers can collect their car directly from a Tesla location or have it delivered to their home, but this pre-owned process is only available in 11 United States cities as Tesla, a relatively new company, waits for more and more used vehicles roll in.
The used cars on sale via the program are available for between $60,000 to $90,000, and could not only create new customers for Elon Musk’s company, but also add an extra revenue stream for the billionaire.
