Switzerland’s Dynamic Test Center recently performed an interesting crash test featuring a car loaded down with luggage.
The crash test footage features a vehicle crammed to the brim with suitcases and a kayak on top, and the results aren’t pretty.
As one could probably infer, stuff goes flying everywhere, into the back of the dummies heads and through the windows, which is not a situation anyone would want to find themselves in.
So I guess the best thing to do is to either rent a U-Haul or simply never travel with a ton of luggage in your vehicle if you don’t absolutely have to.
