Growing up, I had to learn how to play the guitar the old fashioned way… YouTube lessons by random people!
Now, YouTuber WayOutWest wants to minimize the learning needed for mastering the guitar through a new wooded device he created called Chordelia.
Well, you’ll never truly master the guitar, but Chordelia will play five chords for you-G, D, C, A minor, and E minor, thanks to its crazy chord triggers that are part of the wooden apparatus that attaches to the neck of a 6-string.
All you have to do is pull one of the popsicle-stick-looking things and strum to play chords, many of which will help you get by at a bonfire and play thousands of songs.
For $260, I personally wouldn’t recommend Chordelia when you could simply learn to play yourself, which is a lot more rewarding.
But… if you love music, have no time for learning, and cash to blow, Chordelia might be right up your alley!
More than anything, I’d say Chordelia is a more impressive engineering feat than your solution to poor guitar play woes.
Keep at it. Get those calluses on your fingers and you’ll eventually get the hang of it through a little something called willpower, with a pinch of perseverance.
