It seems like General Motor can’t catch a break, even when it comes to the company’s main Chinese joint venture in Shanghai.

GM has been forced to recall 38,328 Cadillac sedans in China as a result of brake control software issues in Cadillac XTS cars manufactured between October 2012 and July 2014.

Chines car makers are priding themselves on increasing safety precautions for their customers so problems with accelerating and braking properly must be resolved immediately to protect drivers.

China’s General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine is looking to straighten out the software malfunction as soon as possible.
