According to a press release from Bentley, actor Idris Elba broke a British land speed record in a Bentley Continental GT Speed recently.
The record, set by Sir Malcolm Campbell in his Blue Bird land speed record car in 1927, held up for 88 years before Elba’s record-breaking run.
Known as the Flying Mile, Campbell managed to hit 174.8 mph while Elba reached 180.361 in his Bentley.
And the question to why Idris Elba did this in the midst of his super successful acting career?
