Dubai Airports is making a bold move toward a greener future by embarking on a groundbreaking project: installing the world’s largest solar roof. This ambitious endeavor will involve placing over 62,000 solar panels across Dubai International and Dubai World Central airports, ultimately generating an impressive 60,000 megawatt-hours (MWh) of clean energy annually.
Supporting Dubai’s Renewable Energy Targets

It represents a significant step toward Dubai’s ambitious goals of sourcing 25% of its energy from renewables by 2030 and, eventually, reaching 100% by 2050.
