3D printing hasn’t quite taken the world by storm as so many people predicted a few years ago.

Yes, the technology has advanced, and the 3D printing industry continues to grow. However, we don’t all own one and certainly aren’t using them to print products we could otherwise buy online or at brick and mortar stores.

In fact, MOST of us don’t own a 3D printer because like so many other things, the really good models are extremely expensive and not to mention, bulky.

However, affordable, more compact 3D printers are beginning to become a bit of a trend, with the latest offering being XYZprinting’s da Vinci Mini 3D printer.

The da Vinci Mini 3D printer doesn’t come equipped with the most advanced features in the world, but if you’re a hobbyist or simply in the market for a desktop 3D printer, it’s the perfect entry-level model.

It prints using Fused Filament Fabrication technology, off 1.75mm filament, at up to a 0.1mm resolution and is available for $289.95
