Some days if I’m working long hours, I have to drop my dog off at daycare.
It’s awesome because the daycare has a mobile app you can download which allows you to watch what your dog is doing throughout the day, as it is synced to the cameras inside of the building.
Sure, you could do something similar in your own house, but it’s sure to cost a good bit of money and offer plenty of headaches along the way.
So time and time I again I find myself wondering, why isn’t there an inexpensive device you can set up in your home to keep a watchful eye on your dog?
Well, Seattle-based Tomofun is looking to fill this void in the market with a new device called the Furbo.
Essentially, the Furbo is a small device equipped with an interactive camera that allows you to watch your dog remotely through using the accompanying smartphone app.
Not only can you spy on your dog and make sure he or she isn’t chewing up the carpet, but the Furbo also comes with a “treat popping system”!
Is that not the smartest thing you’ve ever heard?
My dog is motivated by food, so as soon as the Furbo popped out one treat, he’d probably just sit there, staring at the thing, waiting for another for the rest of the day.
