Most people have been to a museum or two in their lifetime, whether it be by field trip in school or by choice.

Some museums are awful while others are awesome.

However, almost all have the same thing in common when it comes to interacting with the artifacts housed in the museum: You simply can’t get close to them, let alone touch them in many situations.

A company called ColliderCase wants to change the status quo by installing animated holograms in museums to really bring things to life for visitors and provide a more hands-on experience.

For those of us who simply learn better by way of a more visual aid approach, ColliderCase could be extremely helpful.

Basically, holograms are projected onto clear glass display cases, where demonstrations, animations, or simulations take place to further explain something in a museum or simply show how an exhibit used to function.

In today’s day and age, ColliderCase would be a welcome addition to museums as the idea will help not only grab the attention of visitors but hopefully keep it, lending to a more engaging experience.

Versus, you know, a whole class of middle schoolers tweeting the whole time.
