I don’t listen to OK Go’s music and honestly, I couldn’t tell you if they’re even good musicians or not.
I don’t know a single song they sing, and I certainly don’t know how they are thought of in the alt-rock world.
But one thing I do know is when OK Go comes out with a new music video, you watch it.
Known for their marketing prowess and viral videos such as their Rube Goldberg machine one and, of course, their crazy treadmill one, OK Go has perfected the art of making music videos that rack up millions of views.
The band’s latest music video might be their most impressive yet, featuring an S7 Airlines zero-gravity plane chock full of flipping flight attendants, flying suitcases, bouncing balls, and spiraling laptops, in addition to bursting pinatas and what appears to be paint.
OK Go has done it again and regardless of your views on the band’s music, it’s hard to dismiss their unique ability to create viral videos.
A zero-gravity plane for a music video? Genius!
