The Sukhoi Su-34 Fullback entered into active service with the Russian Aerospace Forces in 2014 and is currently the most advanced Russian plane in Syria.
Six Fullbacks were deployed to Latakia, to join the RuAF contingent in Syria on Sept. 28., which feature:
- Maximum range of 2,485 miles
- Payload of up to 26,455 pounds on 12 hardpoints
- 2 seats
- A 30 mm GSh-30-1 cannon
- The ability to carry R-77 and R-73 missiles
- A Khibiny ECM suite
