The Airbus E-Fan is a small, light aircraft, powered solely by lithium-ion batteries and two electric motors.
Recently, the E-Fan completed a major accomplishment while also setting an aviation milestone by successfully crossing the English Channel.
On July 10th, the electric plane departed from Lydd, England and arrived in Calais, France, in what was only a 36-minute flight, yet a huge deal for electric aircraft as a whole.
