Robots are becoming more and more advanced on a daily basis yet we rarely get to see how many times robots fail throughout the testing process.
At the DARPA Robotics Challenge Finals, advanced military robots were put through obstacle courses that encompassed everything from climbing stairs to walking and driving, and even opening doors and closing valves.
During the challenge, however, many of the robots fell over, leaving a lot of footage available to make a hilarious compilation of robot fails.
While, yes, it doesn’t appear promising when high-tech robots are falling over during disaster/emergency response situation drills, you have to remember just how far robotics have come in merely the last two years alone.
For now, we can simply enjoy a robot fail video similar to so many human fail videos before they become perfected and steal your job.
Just kidding… Kind of.
