The Slow Mo Guys are on a roll, with their latest video featuring a matchstick rocket, which is exactly what it sounds like.
Apparently you just wrap aluminum foil around a match and there you have it, your very own miniature rocket.
While I realize I may be in the minority on this one, I actually never made my own matchstick rocket as a child, so I’m feeling a bit disappointed in myself at the moment.
Back in the day, chances are you didn’t have access to a high-speed video camera in order to capture your matchstick rocket in all its glory.
Luckily for us, however, that is what the Slow Mo Guys specialize in, and they recently filmed the tiny launch seen in the video below at 2,500 FPS.
Of all the incredibly stupid, dangerous things I did as I child, I just may never be able to get over never having the experience of my own miniature matchstick liftoff.
