Cooking can be an intensely time-consuming process. This one is for the people who hate to spend time doing so!
A robot chef called Cooki can make hot meals for you from the ingredients that are mailed to your home. Created by Sereneti Kitchen, this automated meal preparation system is currently on display at the Consumers Electronic Show in prototype form.
This is How Cooki Works:
Cooki is controlled by a smartphone app.
All you have to do is select a recipe on your smartphone. Then, load the food trays with fresh, ready-to-cook, pre-portioned ingredients delivered to you by Sereneti Kitchen into Cooki. Just a tap on your smartphone will put Cooki into action.
Cooki will start adding ingredients from trays into the pot placed on Cooki’s inductive heating system at the right time and temperature. A robotic arm will stir the contents of the pot like a human arm.
Once Cooki is done, an alert on your smartphone will let you know that your food is ready.
For now, the device is limited to a single motion (stirring), but soon, a few additional cooking mechanisms will be added to this system.
