Umbrellas are awkward, malfunction constantly, and are simply frustrating in general, but thanks to Nendo and Japanese designer Oki Sato, we have a new-age umbrella that makes staying dry less of a hassle.
The Stay-brella is capable of standing up on its handle so no need to find a wall to lean the umbrella against when you are not using it.
Not only can the umbrella stand up on its own, the two prongs at the end of the handle allow you to hang it pretty much anywhere for ease of transportation and storage.
In Japan, you can buy the Stay-brella is on sale at Seibu for about $54 (¥6,264).
