The video below takes you inside the cockpit of an A-10 Warthog (A-10 Thunderbolt II) during a training mission from the 355th Operations Group located at Davis Monthan Air Force Base in Arizona.
The A-10 Warthog is known primarily as the best close-air support plane ever designed and for its low-level flying ability, sometimes as low as 100 feet.
In order to save $3.5 billion for other procurement projects, the United States Air Force voted to retire the A-10 Warthog, however the idea was opposed by the US House of Representatives in its fiscal year 2015 authorizations.
