Like any tool or technology, the end justifies the means.
The Ryno
For short commutes where you might normally walk or ride a bicycle the Ryno Micro-cycle, with a maximum speed of 10 mph and a 10 mile range, can be ridden on roads, sidewalks and other reasonably smooth surfaces. As one might expect, the Ryno uses motion segway like sensors and gyroscopes to keep it up right and stable. Ryno’s start at just $5,295 and is manufactured in Portland, Oregon.
The Ronan 47
If you need something more powerful, the Ronan 47 motorcycle, built by Ronan Motor Works, is fast and powerful and is named after the Japanese legend “The Revenge of the 47 Ronan”. The Ronan 47 is based on Harley-Davidson’s Buell 1125 superbike. The Ronin 47 costs $38,000.
The following video shows the Ronin 47 being built. Very cool!
