Cirque du Soleil and ETH Zurich Work Together in Order To Dance with Drones

Cirque du Soleil and the university ETH Zurich created a short film that truly captures just how far technology, and specifically drones, have advanced over the past few years.

Essentially, in the short, an electrician short-circuits a fuse and brings all the lamps in his workshop to live but the coolest part about the film is the whole thing was shot live.

A digital choreographer tracked the quadcopters’ movements 200 times a second with a computer, to eliminate the need for special effects and make sure everything was working in unison.
