DARPA has been conjuring up some neat looking concepts over the past few months and their latest, the GXV-T or Ground X-Vehicle Technology program, is no exception.
Based on the concept video, one thing comes to mind for those of you familiar with the Halo video game series.
The GXV-T looks very similar to the Warthog in the game, a beast of a machine built for protection, durability, and racking up kills.
DARPA is currently reviewing proposals from military contractors on the GXV-T, which reportedly can go on “95 percent of terrain” all the while being lighter, smaller, and faster than any vehicle of its kind.
Look for DARPA to announce the winning proposals by April 2015.
