Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana, might be the only hospital in the United States with a 12,500 square foot, perpetually changing art installation on the front of its parking structure.
Rob Ley is responsible for the artwork, named May – September. The installation is blue and yellow and features 7,000 metallic panels that change continuously throughout the day.
Geographical position, time of day and even the speed at which viewers are passing the installation all change the way the gradients in May – September are perceived.
