In order to celebrate 30 years of the M5, BMW is building 300 special edition 30 Jahre M5s for 2015.
In honor of the special release, BMW engineers helped get 40 more horsepower out of the vehicle’s 4.4 litre twin-turbo V-8 engine.
Features:
- 600 horsepower
- 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds
- Top speed of 199mph
Each one of the 300 special edition M5s will come individually numbered but the MW’s 30 Jahre M5 will be extremely tough for anyone to get their hands on.
It is estimated that only 29 cars out of the 300 will reach residents in the United States and all those interested in buying the new M5 will have to call a special hotline beginning May 21 to place their order.
