Coca-Cola consumers in Israel were recently a part of a clever marketing campaign using consumers. The brand known for stressing personal relationships with its fans encouraged “mini-me” 3D versions of people via a mobile app and 3D printing.
Coca-Cola set up a 360 degree scanner in the company’s main Israeli factory and printed miniature figurines of those who won a previous contest. The “mini-me” characters were made of colored sandstone and used to promote Coca-Cola’s new mini-sized bottles.
