Creative agency Barbarian Group out of New York has just installed a brand new 4,400 square-foot “superdesk” made out of plywood and capable of seating all of the company’s 125 employees at once.
The main idea surrounding the creation of the superdesk was to encourage as much company collaboration as possible by bringing everyone in the office together.
“We really wanted everyone sitting under a desk, but we also wanted to create spaces where people could escape to,” said Barbarian Group CEO Sophie Kelly.
The amazing desk features flat areas, wavy areas, tall areas you can work under, and much more … all designed to promote creativity.
