AP Moeller Maersk, Danish shipping and oil conglomerate, recently deployed the the world’s largest ship, the Maersk Triple-E, with a world record 17,603 containers on board.
In total, the cargo ship has a full potential capacity of 18,270 20-foot equivalent units (TEU), and set the record last month after leaving Algeciras, Spain, en route to Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia.
