You don’t have to be a car enthusiast or even a boat lover to appreciate this yacht. But the best you can do is dream about it because it’s only a concept at this point.
The Rolls-Royce 450EX yacht tender project is a final year student project by Stefan Monro studying transport design at Coventry University. He recently completed an internship at Rolls-Royce and blended the automaker’s luxurious style on the road with a high luxury yacht on the sea.
He named his concept the Rolls-Royce 450EX yacht, with the ‘450’ numerals referring to the vessel’s length in feet (45.0). The EX denotes the vessel as an ‘experimental’ concept.
Design of Rolls-Royce 450EX Yacht
Designed as a day cruiser, this yacht plans to make a splash in the luxury scene. Somewhat inspired by the Rolls-Royce Phantom, the Rolls-Royce 450EX yacht has subtle exteriors, encompassing an oversized grill and a nicely-curved body. The Rolls Royce 450EX yacht concept has a wood-lined rear deck.
Inside the vessel, there are four centrally mounted executive seats and two dedicated pilot seats on an elevated platform in a commanding driving position. A concealed bathroom and a bow entrance are also included.
The concept isn’t officially associated with Rolls-Royce but if the company is ever looking into getting into the luxury yacht business, Munro’s rendition is a pretty good place to start.
