On his recent visit to Japan, President Obama had the pleasure of meeting Honda’s humanoid robot Asimo at Tokyo’s Miraikan science museum.
Obama and Asimo talked briefly before the robot got a chance to show the president its soccer skills, which Obama deemed “pretty impressive.”
In a speech, Obama told local students they “have more technology and more power than even the greatest innovators of previous generations, so there is no limit to what [they] can achieve.”
However, Obama also jokingly said, “The robots were a little scary. They were too lifelike.”
