In the world of car racing video games, digital race cars are just for fun only. These dream cars are used to spark the engineers’ imagination and to see what the public’s imagination is ready for. Some of their elements may become reality, but mostly they’re just for fun.
Most of these digital race cars just remain fantasy but some make it into production
Nissan’s ‘2020 GT-R is one such lucky car. Before it was even a physical concept, it started life as a digital race car featured in the racing video game Gran Turismo 6.
The virtual game car was introduced recently during the recent 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed in West Sussex, England. As the name suggests, the Concept 2020 is designed to offer a glimpse of a Nissan sports car six years hence.
This 2+2 sports car drew admiring gazes because of its radical styling. It has a four-wheel drive chassis, ventilated hood, active suspension and carbon fiber front splitter.
Nissan Concept 2020 GT is available to download in Gran Turismo 6.
